Cached input is a broken-out subset of input and is not added again to the total. Expand a row for its event ledger. Retries count as distinct billable requests; duplicate telemetry is de-duplicated.
Usage with no project allocation lands in an explicit Unallocated bucket. A project can have usage with no agent, and an agent can run with no project; those facts are represented, not hidden. Unknown cost is not zero.

Data states
Valid telemetry for the period with zero matching events. An empty chart says so plainly, distinct from missing data.
Usage collection is fresh through 22 Sep; the billing import for 22 Sep is still running. Totals show through 21 Sep and the pending interval is named.
The billing import last completed before the window closed. Cost stays visible with its as-of time so a stale total is never read as final.
A provider connector is disconnected or has not reported. Known usage stays visible and the missing source is named, never shown as zero.
A role without cost permission cannot inspect spend. Totals are withheld rather than shown as zero.
A usage-collection or billing-import job failed. The last completed totals stay with their as-of time and the failed run is flagged for retry, not shown as a drop to zero.
Total tokens are non-overlapping input categories plus output, provider-normalized. Estimated inference cost is the sum of priced billable components; the illustrative cost series is a fixture and does not assert real provider pricing. Unknown and unpriced usage is shown explicitly, never as zero. Pricing source: price-map v2026.09 (Estimated basis). Synthetic fixture data, not a real customer's figures.
